To measure the area, simply measure the length and then the width
of the area and then multiply them together. This will give you the
amount of square metres you require. For difficult to measure areas
you have to square off the area as best as you can then measure in
small sections one section at a time than add them all together using
the same calculation method. A turf roll measures just over 2.2 metres in length and 460mm wide. (This adds up to one square metre).
